Kocc Barma Fall — the sage of Cayor

Kocc Barma Fall was a sage of Cayor, a Wolof kingdom, who lived in the 17th century. Renowned for the depth and beauty of his Wolof proverbs, his words teach wisdom, justice, humility and truth. Passed down through generations, they are still quoted today — a treasure of Wolof culture.
