Cathedral of African Remembrance in Dakar
1929 · Dakar
The Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Cathedral of Dakar was consecrated in 1929. It is the main Catholic place of worship in the Senegalese capital. It rises in a city of overwhelming Muslim majority — an example of the peaceful coexistence of religions in Senegal.
