Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD)

Inaugurated on 7 December 2017 at Diass, some fifty kilometres from Dakar, Blaise Diagne International Airport replaced the old Yoff airport for international commercial flights. This modern hub relieves the capital and aims to make Senegal the leading air and logistics hub of West Africa. A whole new district is growing around it, linked to Dakar by motorway and rail.
